About this Organization
The Oregon Sea Grant-operated Visitor Center at Oregon State University's Hatfield Marine Science in Newport encourages adults and children to enjoy marine science as they learn about the natural world. More than 150,000 people pass through the doors of the Visitor Center every year to view exhibits, participate in hands-on activities and learn about marine animals and resources and issues facing the coast and environment.
