The Office of International Services (OIS) supports the internationalization of Oregon State University and the broader community by serving approximately 2,100 international students and their families from over 110 countries. Through advocacy, education, service, outreach, and engagement, OIS promotes the free exchange of ideas and cultures. Our goal is to set the standard for excellence in international student advising and services, helping all students be successful during their time at OSU.

OIS also serves as the university's central resource for hiring international employees and hosting international visitors. OIS provides comprehensive advising on visa and immigration matters for international faculty and scholars. Each year, Oregon State welcomes around 450 international employees, scholars, and their families from up to 70 countries to teach, conduct research, and collaborate across our campuses.
