Dr. Brent Steel has been named the 2022 University Distinguished Professor of Public Policy. His lecture titled, "The Democracy and Technocracy Quandary: Science, Scientists, and the Policy Process" will be held on Friday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the MU Horizon Room. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Larry Rodgers, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. The event will conclude with a reception honoring Dr. Brent Steel in the MU Horizon Room Lobby.

Advanced registration and in-person attendance are encouraged.
