Dr. Kathryn Higley has been named the 2022 University Distinguished Professor of Nuclear Science and Engineering. Her lecture titled, "Bugs, Bunnies, and Bombs: Radioecology's Role in Radiation Protection" will be held on Friday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the MU Horizon Room. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Belinda Batten, Executive Associate Dean of the College of Engineering. The event will conclude with a reception honoring Dr. Kathryn Higley in the MU Horizon Room Lobby.

Advanced registration and in-person attendance are encouraged.
