38th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Keynote Session

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Keynote Address will follow the Peace Breakfast at 11:00 a.m. in the LaSells Stewart Center. This year’s keynote speaker is Raquel Willis, activist and executive editor of Out magazine. As a Black queer transgender activist, writer and speaker, Willis is dedicated to inspiring and elevating marginalized individuals, particularly transgender women of color. She is a 2018 Jack Jones Literary Arts Sylvia Rivera Fellow and a thought leader on gender, race and intersectionality. Tickets are not required. This event is free and open to the public.
