The Data Lab at Oregon State University is a collaborative environment designed to support data professionals and enthusiasts across the university. It provides a mix of structured programming and open lab time, offering opportunities for peer-led education, collaboration and feedback on data priorities. The lab sessions are held weekly on Thursdays starting at 10:30 a.m. and are open to anyone interested in learning more about working with data.

The Data Lab sessions are divided into two parts:

  • A 30-minute presentation, known as the "Bonus Offering," which covers various topics relevant to OSU analysts. These presentations can range from semi-formal demonstrations of specific analytical techniques to informal discussions on current data ethics issues.
  • An hour-long open forum where participants can ask questions and receive peer support on data analysis problems they may be facing in their work.

Every Thursday starting July 10 via Zoom.
