About this Event
View map Free EventThe new digital divide in higher education is increasingly defined by access to and experience with generative AI. Some students coming from the K-12 system will enter with substantial experience using AI tools, giving them a significant advantage in adapting to new technologies and methodologies. In contrast, others from schools that prohibited any use of generative AI may find themselves at a disadvantage, struggling to catch up with their peers. Carla Wade, Senior Director at the Consortium of School Networking, discusses the new digital divide and approaches for faculty working with students to bridge the gap.
In-person registration is limited to 60.
