The 3rd Annual “All Things Vinyl” workshop is on! Come to the OMN big conference room (402) on Friday, Feb 22 from 1-3 pm. You can enter to win door prizes; the drawing will be at 1:30. There will be four different kinds of turntables and a DJ mixer you can check out and practice on. There will be information on record grading, correctly handling records, connecting turntables, balancing tonearms, preamps, storing records, the Goldmine Grading Guide, spotting valuable records and counterfeits, local places to buy records, and more. Jack, our station engineer, will have over 50 collectible Beatles records to check out including picture discs, singles and a rare “Butcher” cover! This event is designed to allow you to “drop in” at any time and does not require an RSVP. Anyone is welcome.
