This session will spotlight Amazon Web Services capabilities to help with Academic Research. We will cover the suite of AI and GenAI services to help researchers at Oregon State University such as Amazon Sagemaker for an integrated experience for traditional AI/ML and analytics capabilities. The session will primarily spotlight Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service that provides access to a variety of high-performing foundation models (FMs) from leading AI companies such as Anthropic, Meta, Cohere, Stability AI, Amazon, DeepSeek and others all through a single API. With Bedrock, researchers can build and scale generative AI applications and solutions efficiently without the need to provision or manage GPU infrastructure.
