Dan Coe, cartographer and artist, discusses his work in PRAx’s current visual art exhibition, How to Carry Water. Coe currently serves as the graphics editor for the Washington Geological Survey in Olympia, Washington and his LiDAR images have been featured in National Geographic and Nature.
Coe's talk is part of the Geography & Geospatial Sciences Seminar, a series of public lectures hosted by faculty in Geography, Environmental Sciences, and Marine Resource Management (GEM) within the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. Educators and researchers in GEM study and teach all aspects of coupled earth systems, focusing on human interactions with terrestrial and marine processes, from mountaintops to mid-ocean.
