https://see.oregonstate.edu/celFind the Spark in you! Join us for “Beavs Lead: Spark” on Saturday, Nov. 2.
In this day-long immersive leadership retreat, students will have the opportunity to explore their personal values, strengths, identities, and passions, and how they can bring those pieces of their lives into their leadership at OSU. We’ll dig into what it means to be a socially conscious member of our Beaver community and beyond, while developing connections along the way. Check-in will be held at the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center (APCC). Lunch & light breakfast will be provided!
Participants will get to know one another through activities, teambuilders, and conversations in large and small groups throughout the day. New to our program this year, includes small group challenge activities at the OSU Challenge Course! This will include participating in ground-based low ropes activities that aim to foster unity and problem solving skills.
Our hope is that through this experience, you will make new connections with other students, set goals for your time at OSU, and recognize your own leadership potential because leadership is for everyone, and that includes YOU!
This event is open to all students! No prior experience required. First-year, second-year, and transfer students are encouraged to attend!
Register on the Community Engagement & Leadership Homepage (beav.es/cel)
In terms of accessibility, we will not use the high ropes at the Challenge Course, so nothing with harnesses. However, we want to note the low ropes course is not wheelchair accessible. For any other access needs please contact our office directly.
