Depending on the needs at Room at the Inn, volunteers will be working in the kitchen or main room.

Kitchen: Volunteers assist with meal prep, meal service, dishwashing, and snack preparation. Please, read the kitchen safety document before you come in. Volunteers will need to follow all basic food safety guidelines when helping in the kitchen.

Main Room: Volunteers greet guests and help with basic tasks, such as: folding laundry, sorting donations, scheduling showers, sanitizing surfaces, and microwaving food.

Staff will be there to guide you in what to do and to answer any questions or concerns.

Volunteers and staff provide an essential service as the shelter cannot operate without at least 2 people present at all times. Your help provides a place for our guests to stay "home" and stay safe.
