Being Bridges as Scholars: Generating Cross-Disciplinary Practices and Decolonial Possibilities

Dr. Lisa King will discuss her own development as a scholar bridging several disciplines, including Native American/Indigenous studies, rhetoric studies, and museums studies.  Based on her work on Legible Sovereignties: Rhetoric, Representations, and Native America Museums (OSU Press 2017), Dr. King will offer insights and suggestions of ways we go about bulding interdisciplinary bridges as part of the larger decolonial task.
