Black And...

Join the Lonnie B Harris Black Cultural Center and office of Community Engagement and Leadership for a community dialogue on intersectional identities within the Black community. Community Dialogues seek to cultivate connection and deep learning through the exploration of critical and contentious issues. This event is designed to facilitate a dialogue around the web of intersectional identities held by Black students on our campus. We hope to provide a space for connection, a place to navigate and process our unique journeys as Black students at Oregon State University, and to delve into the beauty of intersectionality and recognize how identities intersect and influence experiences. The event acknowledges the diverse spectrum of identities within the Black community, including gender, sexuality, class, religion, national origin, ability and many more.
