Join us for a conversation with Black alumni and friends about their experiences being an entrepreneur, challenges they have experienced as Black folx starting businesses, and how to get started on your own business development journey.

Meet our panelists:

-Zanda Pemba, Citizen of the World, is CEO and Founder of DiaspoRADICAL Soundscapes, the Quality Control Team Lead of D6 Inc., and a process-oriented scientist, engineer, chemist, and social entrepreneur.

- Tanisha Jones (OSU class of '99, BS, Communications) is the President/Founder of Homegirl Consulting, LLC; a boutique communications, business management and marketing consulting firm, in which she helps people, businesses, and organizations identify and develop their overall brand.

- Phil Ross (OSU class of '90, BS, Business Administration) is the founder of PSMB Capital, LLC.

- Johannah Hamilton (OSU Ph.D. candidate, Public Policy) focuses her research on cultural competency in higher education and how policy can leverage social justice in higher education among underrepresented and marginalized communities, and is the founder of Melanin Minerals, LLC, a natural skincare company.

- Dr. Jason Young, Body of Health Chiropractic and Wellness Center. The first chiropractor to work with the Oregon State University Athletic Department and at-large director of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, he is a leader in the chiropractic profession.

- Jarvez Hall (OSU alum, Business) is the Executive Director of the East Metro Economic Alliance, a Visiting Professor of Technology and Entrepreneurship at Concordia University, and founder of of J.D. Hall and Associates, LLC, which provides strategic consulting to nonprofit organizations.
