Blackballed: The Black and White Politics of Race on Campus By Lawrence Ross

Lawrence Ross, author of the Divine Nine: The History of African American Fraternities and Sororities, and Blackballed: The Black & White Politics of Race on America's Campuses will be providing a 1.5-hour keynote on campus racism. This lecture has been presented to over 800 college campuses in the last six years and has been described as one of the most impactful lectures they have ever attended.

Blunt, educational, engaging, and humorous, the Blackballed campus racism lecture details not only campus racism incidents but the reasons why these incidents occur. This keynote provides an opportunity to bridge gaps in knowledge regarding identifying racism, bias, and different experiences centered on race and ethnicity. Attendees learn that the power to make change is in their hands and can be done on the local level and beyond.
