Join co-editors Adam Schwartz (School of Language, Culture and Society), Dalia Magaña, Devin Grammon, and Sergio Loza—along with OSU students—as we introduce a unique contribution to published work on the topic of Spanish Language education. The OSU students, both Spanish minors and majors, enrolled in a Winter term course guided by the book’s contents and collaborative process. Students’ own voices and testimonios will feature alongside Aquí se habla’s diverse set ofcontributors, whose perspectives help to deconstruct disciplinary boundaries and elevate the knowledge and lived experiences of U.S. Spanish speakers. Final work in the OSU course prepared students to showcase how their local and personal bilingualisms double as calls to linguistic justice, which will be highlighted here.
