Everyone is welcome to attend this live Zoom event with Dr. Brian Tilt. He'll be presenting his talk "Water and Energy in China and Beyond: Social, Ecological, and Geopolitical Implications" as part of Geography's winter colloquium series.

Brian Tilt is a Professor of Anthropology in the School of Language, Culture and Society at Oregon State University. His research focuses on natural resources and energy development in contemporary China and the U.S. He works with community members to shape policies that promote both human welfare and environmental sustainability.
Geography's winter colloquium series is a nine-week series featuring speakers come from diverse backgrounds and engage questions of equity in their research and professional activities.
Schedule: The series will be broadcast live on Zoom Fridays at 12 p.m. PST from January 15 to March 12. Other speakers include Bryan Tilt, Sandra Coveny, Vivek Shandas, Lynette De Silva, and Tracey Osborne.
