There are different activities planned throughout the week with some self-guided activities available any time. Please see the schedule below.
Calm Week is happening in the Kow Lounge on the second (main) floor of the Valley Library.
Calm Week is a partnership with OSU CAPS and the Valley Library.
During the week of April 28-May 2, these activities will be out for you to do on your own:
- Take-and-make kits
- Collective art project
- Button rounds - decorate on your own then bring them to an event to finish making
- Visions boards
- Pop-up Mind Spa: please come to the Borrowing and Information Desk on the second (main) floor at the library and ask for the key to the room.
These activities are scheduled to happen during the week:

Tuesday, April 29, 11:30am-1:30pm - Spring Flame, painting candles

Wednesday, April 30, 2-3:30 p.m. - Spring wire bunnies, pipe cleaner bunnies

Thursday, May 1, 2-4 p.m. - Open Air Watercolors, outdoor watercolor painting

Friday, May 2, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. - Build-a-beaver, no-sew beaver

The DIY inspiration (Instead we will make our own cutout of a beaver)
