About this Event
2541 NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis, OR
Celebrate the profusion of flowers, green leaves, and birdsong with a quiet morning walk through the OSU campus on Sunday, May 6. We’ll reflect on the florescence of spring at a handful of varied sites around campus through writing and/or photography. The Ramble will cover about 2 miles. Participants will be gently encouraged to unplug for a few hours and fully experience their immediate surroundings. All levels of writing and photographic experience are welcome. Cub Kahn and Jill Sisson, both nature writers and photographers, will lead the Ramble. We will meet at the Beanery at the corner of NW 26th and Monroe across from campus. This event is free and open to everyone, though registration is required. Register here.
We’ll share our favorite images and writing from the Ramble at an evening session on campus on Thursday, May 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Weniger 201.
