Where the Andes Meet the Sea: Study and Intern in Patagonia

Discover a one-of-a-kind academic adventure in Chilean Patagonia with OSU Global Opportunities and the Colleges of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry. This immersive, term-long program brings OSU students together with Chilean peers for hands-on, high-impact learning in one of the most breathtaking regions on Earth.

Taught by OSU faculty alongside experts from leading Chilean universities, this program offers an unparalleled experience of Patagonia’s diverse ecosystems and communities. Students will engage directly with the landscape through fieldwork, site visits, and research, gaining real-world insight into the environment and human impact. This experience provides in an internship that connects classroom knowledge with meaningful, on-the-ground work. Along the way, students will examine the

environmental and social challenges facing this iconic region—and discover how communities and stakeholders are collaborating to preserve it for generations to come.
