The public is invited to a reception with talks by participating artists in the Coastal Confluences exhibit, currently on display in the Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building on the Hatfield campus in Newport. The event is free. The exhibit features marine-focused art, film and writing by OSU Art-Sci and PRAx Student Fellows. Coastal Confluences presents marine-focused art, film and writing by OSU Art-Sci (2022-2023) and PRAx (2023-2024) Student Fellows. Enjoy short presentations and talks from the following student artists starting at 5 p.m.: Arielle “AJ” Damiana, Nilanjana Das, Nicole Fronda, Aliya Jamil, Cassidy Ochoa and Vaishnavi Padaki.
