Each fall, Oregon State officially welcomes new students during the New Student Convocation ceremony. Students are expected to attend in person or participate via the live stream.

• Student Line-up: 2:15 p.m. | New students will line up by college in the Memorial Union (MU) Quad 
• Processional: 3:00 p.m. | New students will participate in the New Student Walk down 26th Street 
• Ceremony: 3:30 p.m. | Convoction will be in Gill Coliseum

College of Engineering New Students:
Upon arrival to the MU Quad, pick up a College of Engineering t-shirt and line up for the procession (new student t-shirts are available while supplies last).

Returning College of Engineering Students and Faculty/Staff:
We ask all available COE faculty, staff, and non-first-year students to join us at the
corner of SW Intramural Lane and SW 26th Street from approx. 2:30-3 p.m. to cheer
our first-year students on as they head to Convocation. OSU or COE gear is encouraged but not required.
