The College of Health has collaborated with the Writing Center and CAFE to offer three amazing virtual workshops that will help you be better equipped to fund your education. From improving your scholarship essays to exploring scholarship/financial opportunities, these virtual workshops are designed to best support you as a college student.

All workshops are virtual via Zoom and require a registration to attend.

Attendance confirmation for extra credit can be provided if requested.

Jumpstart Your Scholarship Essay Process (workshop by the Writing Center)
Monday, Feb 16 | Noon to 1 p.m. Register here.
Learn strategies to jumpstart your scholarship applications! In this workshop, we'll focus on brainstorming and early drafting in response to scholarship essay prompts. You'll also learn effective strategies for identifying and describing activities, experiences, and career goals to highlight in scholarship essays.

 

“I have a gap of funding, now what?” with Giang (workshop by CAFÉ)

In this interactive workshop, students will learn to explore ways to save money and/or increase income. Scenario questions will consist of both undergraduate and graduate level situations!

Want to learn about scholarship opportunities outside of College of Health? This workshop is for you! Join us to learn how to find outside of OSU scholarships, including where to look, what you can do, tips for a competitive application, and more! We will talk all things scholarships, providing you with the tools to find and apply to scholarships beyond OSU!
