College of Forestry: Inclusive Pedagogy Workshop

Inclusive Pedagogy: Practices for Creating a Sense of Belonging in the Learning Environment

This workshop will focus on defining inclusive pedagogy, explaining why it is important, and provide example practices that can make learning environments more welcoming to all students. Part of the workshop will be spent in small groups. In these small groups, we will share out inclusive teaching practices we have incorporated in our own learning environments or observed as learners. Anyone in the College of Forestry who is interested in inclusive teaching practices is welcomed, and you do not have teaching experience to join us and engage in this discussion!
