Oregon State University is proud to announce a partnership with the Warrior-Scholar Project to host a one-day College Success Workshop.

Warrior-Scholar Project (WSP) provides intensive, immersive college-preparatory academic boot camps and workshops at America’s top universities to enlisted veterans and active-duty service members. Since 2011, WSP has served over 1,400 veterans and service members.

The College Success Workshop we are hosting will provide participants with instruction regarding general study skills including strategies for successful notetaking, class preparation, and time management. Participants will also learn methods to quickly and efficiently analyze complex academic texts. The workshop will be led by alumni of WSP boot camps who will also lead a discussion focused on the transition from military service to college life. The participants will also have the opportunity to hear from a member of our admissions team.

This event is open to all enlisted active-duty service members and veterans who have not yet received a 4-year degree. Lunch, snacks, and coffee will be provided.  Registrants will receive an email with parking information and a digital parking permit after they have registered.

We are very excited to welcome WSP and to provide our military and veteran community with this amazing opportunity. Register for this opportunity online no later than September 29th. Please contact Caiden Marcus-Brist (Caiden.marcus@oregonstate.edu) for more details or how to get involved on Friday, October 13, 2023.
