About this Event
Join us for the inaugural Conference for Antiracist Teaching, Language and Assessment: an opportunity for instructors from across a variety of disciplines to meet, share ideas and buld antiracist approaches to teaching and learning.
This free, online, virtual conference will be held via Zoom in three sessions:
Friday, September 17, 2021, (11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.)
Friday, September 24, 2021, (11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.)
Friday, October 1, 2021, (11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.)
Registration is required. You do not need to attend all sessions in order to participate.
Day 1 Program September 17: Keynotes from Vershawn Ashanti Young and Ana Milena Ribero. Moderated by Jesse Stommel.
Day 2 Program September 24: Keynotes from Victor Villnueva and Alexandria Lockett. Q&A Moderated by Jesse Stommel.
Day 3 Program October 1: Keynote from Asao Inoue, Roundtable Discussion with all Keynotes, moderated by Jesse Stommel.
Join us for asynchronous activities throughout the following weeks focused on taking actionable steps towards enacting antiracist teaching in our lives and classrooms.
