Have you ever wanted to participate in a taste test? Did you know OSU Food Science & Technology has a lab whose main function is to help food companies figure out which products are most likely to succeed? Come learn about the science of quantifying people’s subjective responses to food – and experience it first-hand! That’s right, you can participate in a taste test during this remote session! Join us to learn the reasons food companies use the Center for Sensory & Consumer Behavior Research, the different types of testing, sample preparation and test design to minimize bias, and how the local community is intricately involved. Registration is required; open until 2/8/22.
