Students engage in our courses both in and outside of the classroom. The increased utilization of learning management systems has amplified opportunities for integrating engagement both during class and through the LMS. We will explore how to integrate student engagement in both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments with specific examples to get started with.

Sparkshops are 20-minute Zoom mini-workshops, which focus on small teaching interventions that instructors can apply to improve student learning. They are meant to spark conversations and the exploration of a teaching-related topic.
