Short Term Study Abroad in London Information Session Crime & Punishment in the UK
Can’t spend a full semester studying in London? Then join Sociology professor Michelle Inderbitzin and WGSS professor Susan Shaw for a two-week short term study abroad! August 20-September 3. Earn 6 upper division or graduate credits studying the British criminal justice system and British murder mysteries & TV crime dramas. Courses may count toward the bacc core and the sociology and WGSS majors/minors.
Before travel, we’ll work remotely, reading articles and murder mysteries and watching crime dramas. We’ll use the Canvas discussion board and have a few zoom meetings.
During the trip, you’ll stay in a shared flat in central London, and each day we’ll take excursions to places related to class topics, from Brixton Prison to the Whitechapel of the victims of Jack the Ripper.
