Dr. Samuel Baker is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Texas at Austin. His varied research interests include historical fiction, science fiction, media studies, the environmental humanities, and infrastructure studies. Dr. Baker was a founding member of the Good Systems Ethical AI Texas Grand Challenge and is currently the leader of the “Living and Working with Robots” team.
