As a part of Black History Month & SOL's Black Queer History Week, the Hattie Redmond Women & Gender Center is proud to invite you to Curls & Convos: A Conversation on Curls, Culture, and Community Care!

This is a collaborative event hosted in partnership with ASOSU and located at the Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center on February 9th from 5-7pm. Attendance is limited to 20 participants, so be sure to sign up ASAP!

This event will focus on open conversation around textured hair, it's history, cultural significance, and the ways Hair Care connects to Community Care. All are welcome to come listen, learn, and connect.

Dinner will be provided, and all attendees will receive free hair care samples thoughtfully curated to benefit all hair types. Hair Care products will be carefully packaged and clearly labeled to help avoid cross-contamination and reduce the risk of allergic reactions. Major allergy information can be provided upon request.
