You are invited to DataLab! DataLab is an open time for faculty and staff to ask university data questions or get assistance navigating the systems, reports, and information that help us run the University, evaluate our efforts, and make data-informed strategic decisions. IAR staff are available to consult with you on your unique question, project or challenge and help formulate next steps or point you to the data or information you seek. Some examples of why you may want to stop by DataLab include:

• Find data or reports to help with program assessment, internal evaluation, or to support general business practices or needs
• Learn more about how to use IAR-supported tools (or advanced features) in CORE, Jaspersoft, Tableau, GRS
• Learn more about how to use Excel and CORE together to get more information from the reports
• Identify which report(s) are best to answer a specific question or address a particular business need
• Seek clarity or ask questions about the results of a report
• Customized orientations to data for new college leadership
• Ask questions related to data security and roles and responsibilities related to University data
• Seek help to develop an analysis approach or asking clarifying questions for internal evaluations or reporting needs using University data

Registration is not required, but we can prepare to assist you if you let us know about your data need or question before attending.
