Join Oregon Sea Grant experts on a guided walk along the commercial docks in your local port. Come learn where to find local, in-season seafood, how it’s caught, and how to buy it directly from coastal ports. Discover what makes Oregon seafood sustainable, explore commercial fishing vessels and gear, and get a glimpse into the state’s vibrant fishing industry—you might even meet a fisherman or two!

Garibaldi, OR - June 26, Sept 18
Winchester Bay, OR - Aug 14
Charleston, OR - June 26, Aug 7
Port Orford, OR - July 10, Aug 15
Brookings, OR - Aug 28
TIme: Tours will start at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
What to expect:
- Each tour will be 60-90 minutes. Participants should expect to be walking or standing the entire tour. Total walking distance will be up to 1/2 mile.
- Dress for the weather.
- Comfortable, closed-toes shoes recommended. Docks can be slippery and move underfoot
What you'll get: Each participant will receive a complimentary gift tote bag with informational resources and local seafood products.
