THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO AUGUST 23, 4-6 PM. (Formerly on August 16)

Please join our dry farming demonstration site at Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture, which is conveniently located on the west side of OSU campus. This year, our dry farming demonstration site features a variety trial of diverse crops that are traditionally dry-farmed in northern Africa and the Middle East, including sorghum, sesame, millet, cowpea, melon and African rice. Furthermore, we will be demonstrating different tillage practices in a dry-farmed context. Other featured dry-farmed crops will include winter squash, potatoes, tomatoes and melons - there will be plenty of tasty dry-farmed tomatoes and melons to try as well!
