Please register for this event by June 1. Rubrics help redress common drawbacks in many graduate programs’ admissions processes, enabling greater efficiency and equity.
In this 90-minute workshop, graduate program leaders will be guided through a process to draft a rubric for evaluating graduate school applicants and will have an opportunity to practice using a rubric on personal statements.
Led by a national expert on graduate admissions, Dr. Julie Posselt, the experience will be most beneficial for departmental teams that include faculty who serve on admissions and staff who facilitate the process.
