Mary's Peak Evening Rock Climb – October 10, 2019
Top off the day with an evening of rock climbing, you say? I'm in!!
The Owl Slab is a road cut created by the Civilian Conservation Corp while building a road to the summit of Marys Peak between 1938 and 1941. While short, the routes on Owl Slab are fun and excellent training for aspiring sport and/or slab climbers. The routes range from 5.1 to 5.9.
We'll leave campus at 2:30 p.m. and return at 8 p.m. (sunset ~6:35 p.m.) on October 10.
A pre-trip meeting is required, on October 9 at 6 p.m. in the ALI Lounge.
Call Adventure Leadership Institute (ALI) for more information.
