Faculty Senate meetings are the locus of deliberation and policy-making for OSU’s shared governance. Scheduled monthly during the academic year, meetings, webcasts and documentation are public. Through their elected senate, OSU faculty have a direct role in governing key aspects of the university. The Faculty Senate has legislative responsibility regarding academic policies, educational standards, curricula, academic regulations and faculty welfare, and makes recommendations to university administration.
