Do you and your family enjoy tidepooling, strolling along the beach, or clamming in nearby estuaries? Have you ever wanted to learn more about the amazing marine life that lives in these dynamic environments? This lab class will explore a variety of coastal critters that call the tidepools, sandy beach, and estuaries home. Families will interact and hold exciting organisms including sea stars, sea anemones, sea urchins, ghost shrimp, porcelain crabs, and more as they learn about their anatomy and unique characteristics.

Special Notes: The lab class will occur in one of our wet labs; therefore, no special equipment is required.
