Karen Davison, PhD, RD, CHES, the Fulbright Canada research chair and faculty in the health science program at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University, will present “Feeding Minds: Nutrition, Food Security and the Promotion of Mental Health."
Karen's research interests are in the areas of mental health and nutrition, particularly the effects of marginalization and food insecurity. Throughout her career, she has been awarded more than $3 million in funding as a principal applicant or collaborator and has authored more than 100 scientific journal articles, books and book chapters, technical reports and health professional resources.
