Teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math (STEAM) Using Oregon's Sustainable Fisheries
Grade 4-12 educators: Join us as we engage with the fishing community, researchers, and fisheries managers to explore the complex issues surrounding Oregon's fisheries. In this four day workshop we will explore field-based and classroom activities including data collection with researchers, engineering challenges, and behind-the-scenes tours.
All participants will receive a $200 stipend upon completion of the workshop. Most meals are provided. Housing is available for participants traveling more than 50 miles from Newport. For more information contact Tracy Crews at tracy.crews@oregonstatee.edu or 541-867-0329.
