Our seminar series has been redesigned to provide a more convenient format for entrepreneurs and startups.

The updated Fridays @the FIC series is now available as a one day workshop featuring Sessions 1 thru 4.

The course fee is $249 per person and includes lunch*.

Part 1 – Product formulation, nutrition label information, and food safety

10:45-12:00              Session 2 – Start Up Overview con’t

Part 2 – Learn about processing, packaging and shelf life studies

12:00-12:45              Lunch

12:45-2:00                 Session 3 – Packaging & Shelf Life

Learn about the importance of the right food packaging and conducting shelf life testing or studies on food products

2:15-3:30                   Session 4 – Food Safety Basics

Learn about food safety fundamentals: Microbial Hazards, Water Activity, pH testing, Temperature, etc

Handouts for each session will be provided. Be sure to bring a notebook and pen with you to record additional information.

*Since the four sessions are combined into a one day workshop attendees no longer pay $110 per session meaning a savings of $191 for each person.
