In this FURst Aid, Dr. Andee Frei will overview how NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) work and include recommendations for when and when not to give them. The presentation will focus primarily on horses, but will also include some recommendations for usage in ruminants. There will also be time for Q&A. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. You can choose to attend either in person or via Zoom webinar.
Dr. Frei is a large animal internal medicine resident at the Oregon State University Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine.
