Conjuring Solidarity: Protesting Precarity in South Korea

Radical imaginings is the theme of the Spring 2022 Seminar Series in Geography, Environmental Science, and Marine Resource Management.

Sponsored by the Geography Program in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences and generously supported by the Richard Marston Lecture in Geography.

Our Spring 2022 Seminar Series invites distinguished scholars who are leading their fields to radically imagine futures in different areas of work. These areas include: climate scenarios and our futures; the food/energy/water nexus; climate and conflict; vulnerability and natural hazards; and justice and decolonizing work within the academy and beyond.

We invite students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to join us for these seminars, either in person in Burt Hall 193 or via Zoom. To join via Zoom, please register. You will receive a Zoom link upon registering to join, which will be the same for each seminar. Registration is not required to attend in person.

For in person attendees, please note a reception with refreshments will follow each seminar.  Registration is not required to attend in person.
