Come join National and Global Scholarships Advising for drop-in writing help for your Gilman Scholarship application! The Gilman Scholarship, offered by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, awards students up to $5,000 to go toward their education-abroad program of choice. This award is for undergraduates who are U.S. citizens who are eligible for a federal Pell Grant. If you are planning to go abroad anytime between summer 2025 to spring 2026, this application cycle is for you!

At this event, we will have advisors and students who have previously been awarded the Gilman Scholarship present to help with application questions, offer feedback on application essays and be available should you want to spend dedicated time working on your application. 

We will have free food and drinks available for anyone who would like to attend!

The application deadline for the Gilman Scholarship is March 6.
