Join Corvallis Mayor for Peace Biff Traber to plant a Green Legacy Hiroshima Peace Tree, grown from a tree that survived the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. The Peace Tree will be dedicated to Oregon Hiroshima survivor Dr. Hideko Tamura Snider. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments and a facilitated discussion about nuclear weapons.
