GrooveSafe is a non-profit organization that raises awareness about non-consensual touching and sexual violence specifically at concerts and entertainment spaces. The training will teach respect for personal boundaries, prevention and de-escalation skills, tips on staying safe, and cultivate consent culture. It will be led by GrooveSafe founder Ashley Driscoll and Shawn Potter, musician and author of Making Spaces Safer.
This event is part of the 2024 Phish Studies Conference, but is free and open to all.
