The goal of the panel is to educate the public about interpretations of the Second Amendment, how gun laws disproportionately affect Black communities, popular myths about gun laws, and how gun laws are tied to domestic terrorism, before they vote in the 2020 Election. Both academics and community members that are highly educated and/or work directly with the area of focus will be on the panel to provide a more balanced perspective and knowledge. The panels will be open to the general public.
