Topic: Hydrophonics - The Sound, The Science, The Story (LIVE)
Join us for Chet's final performance as a culmination of his time as Hatfield's Artist in Residence 2026. He spent the last year working closely with undergraduates, graduate students, and researchers at Hatfield Marine Science Center to design and create interactive ocean-related audio experiences for visitors, learners, and researchers alike. This seminar will include a talk, Q&A, and a culminating concert including three world premiers, live performances, sound compositions, and some remarks about each work. It's a way to share with the community many of the significant things he experienced and learned while getting to work at Hatfield. You won't want to miss it!
TIME: 4-6 p.m. (Note the different time for this event!)
COOKIE & COFFEE SOCIAL: 3:30-4 p.m., Food or drink is not allowed in the auditorium, so there will be a cookie and coffee social in the GVMSB atrium before the talk- just bring your own mug (no paper cups will be provided).
