At the Honors College, we believe that innovation and accomplishment emerge from an environment that values, hears, and respects diverse voices and perspectives. To join this important conversation, every incoming Honors College student participates in our Summer Read program. This program provides you with a free e-book to read over the summer months, and students then meet for an hour-long facilitated conversation with fellow incoming honors students about the book at the very beginning of fall term. This year’s selected book is Isabel Wilkerson’s Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents.
